Original vs Pirated DVD

The piracy of DVD has increased to a very great extent in all the parts of the world. Many of us prefer original dvd over the pirated dvd; however when it comes to price the pirated dvd always wins. The main reason for this is that the pirated dvds are very cheap as compared to the original dvd. The reason for this is that these dvds are made from the original dvd and do not have the features that are there in the original dvd. In case of dolby digital discs the sound quality is not up to the mark as they do not include the codec to play it. But still we prefer the pirated dvd. I don’t say that pirated dvds are not good they are good but only for the dvd manufacturer’s. You may wonder how this is possible. The reason is that though these dvds are supported by the dvd players they spoil the mechanism of the dvd players. As in some of the cases the lens of the player is not able to read a particular sector so it starts reading it over and over again resulting in the weakening of the lens. But how does it matter we will still 50 odd rs and still get the pirated dvd.
There are a number of options that are available which can replace the pirated dvds but people are not aware of it. There are number of online stores in the US like Netflix, blockbuster, and in India like showtimevideo and moviemart. But peple are not aware of these stores. These stores allow you to rent the original dvds at dirt cheap prices of 50 rs or so. It is as cheap as the pirated dvd. But there is only one disadvantage that there are not as visible as the station side pirated dvd vendor.Though there are a number of options available that can replace the pirated dvds but who cares.
